Today's Hardship is Tomorrow's Testimony

As I get older, there are times I look at life, perhaps a circumstance that is just developing, and I think about being in the right place at the right time. Those moments are so precious. They give meaning to life making me stop and consider what a good God we serve. How, in to the details, He is and how much he cares about us/me that He works through every situation so thoroughly.

Esther 4:14 (NIV) 
  For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

The story of Esther is one of those stories where God is so evident, even if He is never mentioned. We can feel His presence and His influence laced in every scene. I find it humbling to be blindly doing the work of God, allowing Him to use me to complete His big picture. While it gives me cause to pause, my faith in God's love pushes me to step out and step up.

The work Esther performed for the Jewish nation was dangerous.  She had God on her side and boldly did the right thing. When we are faced with those moments that fill us with fear, we have one right choice to make too. Call out to God, trust He hears, and go for it. You may not get another chance, it may be you are called for such a time as this.  What a privilege.
