Jesus is Resurrected

Mark 16:1-7       

“Don’t be alarmed, you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him, but go and tell His dieciples and Peter, He is going ahead of you into Galilee. there you will see Him, just as He told you." 

A little boy was gazing intently at the picture in the art store window where a notable picture of the crucifixion was displayed. A man approached, stopped and looked. The boy seeing his interest, said “That’s Jesus.” The man did not reply and the boy continued, “Those Roman soldiers in the picture, they killed Him.”

The man asked the boy where he had learned this. “In Sunday-school Sir," he replied. The man turned and walked thoughtfully away. He hadn’t gone far when he heard the boy calling, “Oh, I forgot to tell you Sir that He rose again.”

The message of salvation, the story of eternal triumph, the promise and pledge of immortality has been told through the ages, and still many have not heard the good news.
