Isaiah 26:7 (MSG) The path
of right-living people is level. The Leveler evens the road
for the right-living.
Reading this verse, one might think if I am a Believer, I've got it made. If I do good things and believe, the road ahead will be smooth and trouble free. But, we know that isn't so. We know that life plays no favorites and just because we are Christian, there is no 'get out of jail free' card.
There is one huge difference though, between the struggles of a Believer and a non-believer. We can turn to the One who changes everything. We can turn to God amid our challenges, and pray for help, relief, guidance or release, and God will hear us.
Now, this sounds real trite; preachy even, but think about it. Having the ability to turn to God to get us out of a sticky situation is real. Have you ever been in trouble and finally submitted to God, begged for help and cried out to be heard? God's grace is real, His love and compassion are valid. I could list numerous times I thought all was lost, but Jesus restored me to wholeness.
Isaiah 26:3 (ESV)
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Perfect peace, what does that look like in your life? Do you know how to find it, how to embrace it and then share it with others? Make this story of Grace and Truth in our life, a testimony to The Leveler; to the one who guards and protects you as you journey through life.
