How easy it is to believe that what you see is an accurate reflection of what is truly happening? We know that human perception is influenced by hundreds of variables that your mind tries to make sense of for you. In fact, you are capable of creating an artificial world for yourself that is much like a game of Virtual Reality. You respond to what you think you see instead of what scripture tells us is at work and unseen.
Everyday when you awake, life is filled with relentless spiritual warfare. The specifics may vary as you interact with family or friends and witness the current events of today. Whether or not you recognize your enemy doesn’t change the fact that you are being attacked. And, NOT by the people or situations that you blame. All of us are pawns in a game where evil is at work, and we need to look at it just that way!

Our flesh is at the mercy of our senses, AND our perception is not a true reflection of reality. Our spirit must be our master paying more attention to what is truly at work in this world. We need to determine how something sets itself up against the knowledge of God before reacting. Don't be part of the drama, but instead, align with the divine power of God to demolish strongholds. And, take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ!
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does."
