Immanuel; GOD with US

The week of Christmas is upon us. What may seem to be simply a time of family traditions and gifts under the tree is really a deeply spiritual occurrence. Jesus is more than a baby in a manger with a birthday in December. Jesus and Christmas show the holy work of God!

Jesus is our Savior, and there is nothing purely human about Him. His birth was of God in fulfillment of a prophecy by God. God planned it. God carried it out, and God made sure the human participants understood that the whole thing was supernatural.

The Christmas story is to be adored as the mystery of Christ becoming man and entering our world. The Holy Spirit living inside each of us is the same Holy Spirit that spoke to Mary and Joseph. Whenever something like this occurs, God provides a revelation to set hearts at ease and to encourage our faith response. Christ was born for this!!

Remember Jesus, the “Reason for the Season” sent by your Heavenly Father to be with you. Call Him, Immanuel, which means, “God with us”.
