FAITH in the WORD

John 4:46-53
Imagine living in the days when Jesus performed miracles! Even though the man in today's scripture was in Jesus' presence, he didn't know the power to heal was based in the person of Jesus Christ. When Jesus didn't travel to see his sick son, the man didn't expect for his son to be healed.  He didn't rest his faith solely on the word of Jesus.
Little did this man know that Jesus would heal people for centuries to come.  That knowledge would have really challenged his thinking!
None of us have the privilege of being in the physical presence of Jesus. We have always based our faith on the Holy Bible, inspired by God, and the power of the Holy Spirit abiding in us. Yet we may, in fact, have more to go on than the man did!
We know Jesus lived, died, rose from the dead, and will return again.  We understand He rules with truth and grace and is the Prince of Peace.  He brings light where there is darkness and is our Great Comforter and Redeemer. Jesus has authority to do all of these things because He is God.

In all things, we need only take one leap of faith, based on what we know to be true.  Jesus sits on the right hand of God.  He hears our prayers and intercedes with God on our behalf.
Ask, Seek, and Know
 Jesus answers all prayer.
