The People Long for Egypt

REFLECT

The Israelites were poised on the very border of the promised land. All they had to do was trust God and obey him by crossing that line. But, their pride, their attitude of fear stopped their forward progress. Their short memories of all God had already done for them caused them to revolt. They turned on their leadership and started to mutiny. As a result they wandered for 40 more years .
