Life is uncertain. We are fragile beings with fragile faiths. When we encounter a bump or a bolder in the road we cry out to anyone who will listen. We know God loves us, we have learned over time of His sacrificial love for us yet there are days we still ask, "Where was God? Where is God?"
John 20:15 (NIV)
"Woman," he said, "why are you
crying? Who is it you are looking for?"
Jesus is asking his dear friend these questions. She has been in His company for months now and still she cries over His death. Did He not tell her and the others the story before it began to unfold? Do we not have the same details at our finger tips and still cry out? Faith is made stronger during trials. We are made stronger during trials too.
What are you currently suffering that will make you stronger? Can you already tell how God is molding and shaping you? Is your faith growing yet? Do you know that even though Christ ascended into Heaven He is still right here with us?
When I get down on my knees, when I submit my will to His will, when I trust Him for everything, He responds mightily. God is good...
