Acts 10:43 (NIV) All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."

Peter, a Jewish man, accepted the invitation to a Gentile's home, knowing the old law forbade it. But, the work of God in Peter caused change to his heart. God revealed to Peter that He did not favor one person over another. There is no partiality in God's eyes, His love covers all of His children.

So began Peter's ministry to everyone, Jew and Gentile. So too should our ministry move forward. We are all gifted by the Holy Spirit. Every Believer possess at least one spiritual gift we are to use to build up the body of Christ. The struggles we endure are purposefully put in our lives so we can testify to God's faithfulness.

The pain encountered on the journey of life, gives testimony to God's love. The fact we survived and now thrive, points to the grace God graciously bestows. Coming out on the other side of catastrophe a stronger and healthier Child of God brings glory to our creator. When we walk alongside another who is in the midst of similar hardship, we are doing just what God wants; we are right where we need to be.

God has been growing us, giving us depth. Is there a situation in your life that is causing heartache? Are you moving through it with God at your side? Are you being made ready to help someone else along the same path?

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)
