The Spirit will make the difference

This is the backstory, the events leading up to Joel's prophecy.  (Joel 2:26-27 NIV)

You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.

Joel 2:28-30 (NIV)
'And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

Jesus promised to send a 'helper' and he said "When he comes he will prove the world to be in the wrong...because the prince of this world [Satan] now stands condemned."

We are experiencing some tumultuous times right now. Not considering the so called celebrities, for they have an agenda only Satan understands - but our own people are at odds. Our friends and family may not believe as we do. We all think we are right but if we would come together and call upon the Holy Spirit for wisdom and the ability to see truth, he will do that.

We are shocked to learn that people we care about don't care about the same things we do. What do we do with this?  Seek truth. Come together in prayer. Sounds simple and it is, but not easy. We are too proud, convinced only we know what is right. But, it is the Holy Spirit who knows.

God's blessings are promised to those who sincerely and consistently follow him.
